Description:
Sealing compound for conical and tapered plastic threaded
both conical and cylindrical.
Area of application:
For sealing tapered and cylindrical plastic threaded connections (plastic/plastic or plastic/metal).
Suitable for cold or hot water and (compressed) air. Applications include PVC, CPVC and ABS, possibly in combination with copper, brass, (galvanized) steel and stainless steel, among others.
Preparation :
Application conditions: Do not use at temperatures ≤ +5 °C.
Surface pre-treatment: Clean and dry surfaces using a degreasing agent (Griffon PE Cleaner) and a clean, well absorbent, lint-free cloth (Griffon Cleaner Cloth).
Application:
Apply evenly to both male and female parts. Assemble directly and remove any residue.
Assembly can be adjusted for approx. 5 minutes. The fitting can withstand a pressure of 8 bar (product at 20°C) or 2 bar (product at 80°C). Can be disassembled after hardening.
Storage conditions :
Shelf life: At least 15 months after production.
Store in unopened packaging between +5°C and +25°C. Use before (MM/YY): see packaging.
