Sealing compound for roofing

:

• Realization of the joints in roofing (stumps of chimneys, flashings, edges, dormer windows, ...)

Implementation:

 

Preparation:

• The surfaces must be clean and degreased (depending on the surface, with alcohol or acetone per for example).

Instructions for use :

• Cut the end of the nozzle to a diameter slightly smaller than that of the joint.
• Apply the sealant with a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Smooth the joint with a wet spatula to press the sealant onto the edges of the joint.

Consumption :

• Depending on the size of the joint and the application, a 310 ml cartridge will produce a joint of length (the length of the joint is expressed in meters) :

Cleaning of equipment :

• The excess of fresh, uncured filler can be removed with acetone preferably or, failing that, with ethyl alcohol or white spirit.

 

Product benefits:

• Applicable on wet surfaces
• Excellent adhesion to most substrates (slate, concrete, PVC, tiles, glass, zinc)
• Unalterable, excellent UV and weather resistance

Tips:

• To promote the development of adhesion on wood and concrete, it is possible to slightly moisten the support before application.

Storage:

• Store at a temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
• At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 24 months.

Observations:

• In the case of paints containing solvent, a delay in drying may occur and it is therefore necessary to conduct a preliminary test.
