Description:
FLO-BLOC® UTB inflatable plugs are used temporarily to plug sewage pipes and all kinds of materials.
FLO-BLOC® UTB plugs are single-size, i.e. they cover only one pipe size from DN 40 to 400.
FLO-BLOC® UTB are ideal for effluent detour, thanks to the 3/4" or 1.5" or 3" bypass (depending on part number).
They can also be used for simple upstream flow shut-offs (for maintenance downstream of the shut-off section, for example), using the screw-on bypass plug supplied with the obturator.
- They are made of natural rubber (identical to that used in tire manufacture);
- they are fitted with a Schrader-type inflation valve (automotive valve);
- an aluminum lifting ring enables a rope, chain or extension rod to be attached to remotely remove the obturator, thus ensuring greater operator safety.
FLO-BLOC® UTB obturators withstand pressures from 0.90 to 1.50 bar.
The FLO-BLOC® range of accessories offered by NORHAM will enable you to install and inflate the obturator (inflation pressure: 2.40 to 2.80 bar depending on references).
If required, FLO-BLOC® UTB inflatable plugs, coupled with UT models, will make it possible to carry out air and water tightness tests.
