The fitting consists of :
A body consisting of an insert with an EPDM O-ring to receive the pipe and an end for connection to the network or to another pipe.
A ring for securing the crimping sleeve to the body, enabling you to check that the tube is correctly inserted.
A crimping sleeve that compresses the tube onto the insert by mechanical deformation.
