Features :

Ready-to-use refractory mastic based on alkali silicates and asbestos-free refractory fillers :

• Assembly of heating appliances, assembly of boiler components.

Implementation:

Preparation:

• Masonry: clean with a wire brush and remove dust.
• Cast iron/metals: clean with abrasive, degrease with alcohol and wipe with a clean cloth.
• For better adhesion, brush the surfaces to be filled with a 90% CALORYGEB / 10% water. In all cases, it is advisable to moisten porous surfaces before applying the product.

Instructions for use :

• Do not apply the sealant if the temperature is below +5°C or above +40°C.
• Spread the product on the parts to be grouted or fill the cracks and cavities until they are filled.
• Depending on the substrate, allow to dry for approximately 48 hours before gradually increasing the temperature, without putting in contact with the flame.

Consumption :

• • Depending on the size of the joint and the application, a 310 ml or approximately 600 g cartridge will make a joint of a length (see table on next page, the length of the joint is expressed in meters) :

Cleaning of equipment :

• The cleaning of the equipment is done with water (hot if possible).

Tips:

• For a better preservation in the jar, level the surface of the product in the can and close the lid, after use.

Storage:

• • Store at a temperature between +5°C and +30°C.
  • At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 30 months.

Observations:

• Continuous storage at a higher temperature may, in some cases, alter the final characteristics of the product.
• The product must not be used in case of contact with water or high humidity, in thicknesses too great (> a few mm) and in technical jointing (heavy elements, subject to shocks and vibrations due to for example).
• The product is not suitable for grouting glass or enamelled substrates.
• Decanting of the filler may occur. In this case, remove the supernatant or re-mix the product before use.
