      Features :

      Greasing and sealing of gas valves :
      • Gas valves for household appliances (stoves, ovens, water heaters,...)
      • Greasing of metal, glass and other valves
      Implementation:

      Preparation:
      • Close the meter
      • Bleed the system by leaving one burner open.
      • Remove the valve head and clean it.

      Instructions for use :
      • Apply S6959 GREASE around the bushel without excess.
      • Reassemble the head and run the valve several times to distribute the grease evenly.
      • Open the meter and check that the tap is not leaking with a LEAK DETECTOR. (leak detector in aerosol)

      For a stovetop faucet:

      Preparation:
      • Remove the button

      Instructions for use :
        • Insert grease between the fixed and moving parts of the valve.
        • Do not over-grease to prevent grease from entering the valve ports.
      Cleaning of equipment :
      • Solvent-based degreaser, water-based degreaser
      • White spirit, acetone
      Product benefits:
      • Good resistance to temperature, ageing and chemical agents
      • Suitable for combustible gases

      Storage:
      • Store at a temperature between +5°C and +4 0°C.
      • At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 5 years
