Features :
Catalytic sweepingpowder that will render the tar deposited in the soil non-flammable chimney flues.These are responsible for most of the fires in stacks :
- Can be used as a chemical chimney sweepbefore a mechanical sweepto improve efficiency and for maintenance throughout the heating season.
- Increases heat output and reduces the risk of chimney fires.
- Suitable for coal, wood or oil stoves, for open fireplaces or inserts, for all boilers except oil and gas boilers.
- Compatible with all types of ducts.
Implementation:
Preparation:
- Light a good fire or perform the operation at the end of a blaze.
Instructions for use :
- On a fire finishing with good embers, spread the number of measures recommended. This fire will allow to heat the chimney flue, to softenthe tars and thus to facilitate their elimination.
- Keep the hatch open.
- The powder will evaporate and settle as a whitish film in the chimney.
- The catalysis reaction will then denature the tars and make them non-flammable. It will last about 15 days.
- Much of the tar will fall into the firebox or escape into the flue.
- If necessary, carry out a mechanical chimney sweepin accordance with the legal provisions in force.

Storage:
- Store at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
- At 20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging and in a dry place is 60 month.
Observations:
- Annual mechanical chimney sweepingis required by some insurance companies and/or regulations prefectoral or communal.
- Caution: Chemical chimney sweepingdoes not in any way replace mechanical chimney sweeping, which is the only way to check the vacuity of the chimney flue.
