Let your materials stand the test of time with RUSTOL - OWATROL. This anti-rust treatment makes your materials more resistant, stops rust and protects them from external aggression. Used as an undercoat before your finishing paint, it guarantees a quality result and protects your materials from heat and humidity thanks to its protective film.
Properties
Antirouille pénétrant et isolant direct sur rouille
- Pénètre jusqu'au métal sain tout en chassant l'air et l'humidité.
- Forme un film protecteur isolant et souple. Résiste à + 175°C.
Additif pour peintures, Vernis et lasures à liant gras
- Dilution : 25 % par litre en première couche ou 50 % si le support est lisse ou poreux.
- Rend les peintures, vernis et lasures glycéro, antirouille. Favorise leur application.
- Remplace les diluants : ne s'évapore pas.
- Augmente le pouvoir couvrant des finitions.
Base d'accrochage tous supports
- Pur en première couche.
- Adhérence sur tous supports lisses : verre, pvc, métaux ferreux ou non...
- Permet de recouvrir l'alu, le galva et le zinc sans dérocher.
Aspect décoratif
- Conserve l'aspect rouillé des supports tout en les protégeant.

Compatible with all air-drying fatty (alkyd) varnishes, paints, lacquers and woodstains, oil-based paints, glycerophthalic paints, single-component urethanes, petroleum asphalt-based paints, grease coatings. Can be mixed with oil-bonded woodstains for better impregnation of wood and protection of metal parts (hinges and fittings).
Incompatible with fast-drying paints (bodywork type), chlorinated rubber or two-component paints, water-based paints (see OWATROL E-B and FLOETROL).

Application
RUSTOL-OWATROL is most effective on lightly oxidized substrates, as it uses rust as a pigment to form a protective film.
To render paints rust-resistant, always carry out a compatibility test and mix 25% RUSTOL-OWATROL and 75% paint
To facilitate paint application, add 5% RUSTOL-OWATROL instead of thinners.
