The GKM plasterboard plug is made of metal. The dowel is suitable for the installation in the wall. The plug is installed flush with the substrate by hand or with an electric screwdriver. No pre-drilling is required for single-ply gypsum plasterboard. In gypsum plasterboard and double gypsum plasterboard, pre-drilling with a Ø 8 mm drill bit is required. The GKM is suitable for wood, sheet metal and chipboard screws with diameters of 4 to 5 mm as well as various hooks and pins. It is therefore universally suitable for the safe and fast fixing of lamps, electrical installations and furniture accessories.

- The self-tapping cutting thread of the GKM allows for a secure form-fit. A high load capacity is thus achieved.
- The cross recess allows the use of a standard screwdriver or pozidrive 2 bit. No special tools are required.
- The short length of the dowel requires only a small space at the back of the plate. This means that the GKM can also be used in the case of undefined plate thicknesses and cavity depths.

Operation / Assembly
- The GKM is suitable for standby installation.
- The GKM self-drilling metal dowel is anchored in the plasterboard by means of a form lock.
- Flush installation in sheet material. Do not overtighten the dowel. The torque should therefore be reduced when using an electric screwdriver.
- Suitable for wood, sheet metal and chipboard screws of Ø 4.0 to 5.0 mm.
- In gypsum plasterboards and gypsum plasterboard linings, pre-drill with a Ø 8 mm drill bit.
- Not suitable for tiled plasterboard.
