Features :
Coating providing protection against rust and corrosion :
- Product with a very high zinc content for the protection of ferrous metals, light alloys and surfaces damaged galvanized steel.
- Resistant to very high temperatures.
- Touching up of damaged galvanic coatings.
- Retouching after welding on galvanized metal.
- Finishing, appearance (pipes, posts...).
- Replacement of hot-dip galvanizing on threaded parts.
- Protection against certain gases and corrosive atmospheres.
- Good corrosion resistance.
- Conductivity: at low thickness, it is a perfect impression for spot welding.
- Compatible with all welding processes, except argon.
Implementation:
Preparation:
- The surfaces to be treated must be clean, degreased and free of rust, paint or varnish
- Brush, sandblast or shotblast if necessary
Instructions for use :
- Shake the can vigorously upside down to loosen the bead from the zinc amalgam.
- Spray evenly at 20-30 cm from the surface to be treated in cross layers.
- It is advisable to purge the can upside down after use to avoid clogging the nozzle.
Consumption :
- Approx. 3 m² for the 650 ml aerosol.
Cleaning of equipment :
- Acetone, ethyl acetate, white spirit
Product benefits:
- High Zinc content
- Resists very well in saline atmospheres or at high temperatures
- Compatible with all welding processes (except argon)
Tip:
- The tallow impregnation protects against the heat.
Storage:
- Store at a temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
- At +20°C, the shelf life of the product in its original closed packaging is 18 months.
